The Legend of Long Legged Leon

Leon was not an unusual child.  He liked the same things as anyone else.  Mud, insects, creepy crawlies and anything that went bump in the night.  Indeed, it is said if he hadn't been locked in the barn till he was seventeen then he may well have become a pillar of the community.  A pillar being the perfect description!  Unfortunately he was locked in the barn and yes, it was till he was seventeen.  However, he did have many friends, the birds that nested in his hair and the magpies that roosted on his shoulders at night.  Despite it all he was inwardly, relatively normal, outside though, well that was a whole different matter .............

............ The walk to the doctors was a long one.  Luckily Leon's exceptionally long legs aided.  Soon he was there and knocking on the door.

'Yeeeeessssssssssss' said a strange voice from within.

'Hello' Leon said, 'I'm looking for the doctor, Doctor Pathology Grim'.

'Yeeeeessssssssssss' the voice said again, 'Oh my, yeeeeessssssssssss, I can see why you need me.'  A small thin man came out.  He was small bodied with an unusually large head.  Thick glasses and a white coat covered in blotches of red.

'Oh,' Leon said, 'sorry to disturb you while you are decorating'.

'Yeeeeessssssssssss' the doctor replied, 'I am in the middle of re-modelling some old features.'  (A scream is heard from within).
