Timmy
Timmy sat down and opened his book,
And started to draw what looked like a rook.
So hungry was he that he pulled out some hair,
It wasn’t very tasty but he didn’t care.
Now Timmy lived in a house full of toys,
But they weren't for him, just the other boys,
He watched from his window as they ran and played,
But he couldn’t join in. He was locked in a cage................
.............. They came on the tiptoe, they came on the sly,
With revenge on their minds, and a twinkle in their eye.
With a rope and a match and a small metal rasp,
They broke into the house and took a big gasp.
‘Shhh!’ he whispered, for she’d knocked over a lamp,
‘Sorry.’ She said, ‘But I slipped on a stamp.’
‘A stamp!’ Timmy said, ‘What a lovely idea,
We’ll mail them, far, away from here.’
